Within this site there may be words, acronyms or terminologies that are foreign to you but don't worry (too much), I'll try my best to help you understand.

You may not know the difference between HTML and the NHL, between CSS and CSI, but there are easy to understand concepts and ideas that we can explore together as I assist you in determining the needs for your website.

The first thing I'd like to point out is regarding some 'Filler Text' that is used in designing this and many other websites. It's called 'Lorem Ipsum' and you will see it used throughout this site for display purposes.

Don't be afraid, I'm not expecting you to be able to read Latin but I do want you to know why it is being used.

In publishing and graphic design, Lorem Ipsum is the name given to commonly used placeholder text (filler text) to demonstrate the graphic elements of a document or visual presentation, such as font, typography and layout.

Lorem Ipsum is typically a nonsensical list of semi-Latin words and it is not intended to have any meaning.

Where text is visible, people tend to focus on the 'words' rather than the design or presentation, so publishers and designers use Lorem Ipsum to direct the focus to the design style and not the 'meaning' of the text. (Borrowed and edited from Wikipedia)
